The Sustainable Shopper’s Ball is a monthly series this Spring intended 
to promote ecologically intelligent lifestyles in the Austin community. 
The events are part farmer’s market, part green living fair, part 
educational experience, & part rock concert. All of our exhibitors are 
local businesses and non-profits whose daily work demonstrates an 
outstanding commitment to environmental health.

The second event in the series (April 22nd) includes kids activities, 
lectures about sustainable living (including Mayor Will Wynn), food, 
cloggers, dogs, and a solar-powered concert from James McMurtry. And 
it's free. At last month's event we had over 5,000 people come through 
and we expect more this time. We'll need quite a few volunteers to help 
us make things run smoothly -- people to help us set up booths and 
tents, help with the art installations and greet visitors. Plus you'll 
get to enjoy the event with all the rest of the visitors! If you have 
even just a couple of hours to spare on April 22nd, we would love to 
have your help.
