Chris is right..results were minimal...but on a good note the hot dogs were
only slightly burned and the chili was ok and not too lava like..nobody was
crushed or shocked or sunburned. Plus Derek wrote down alot of life and time
saving things and Chris looked up some cool tools on line that we may be
able to rent here in town. I would like to regroup on Sunday the 20th to
take another stab at it. In the meantime we will try to hammer out what to
procure to proceed.
On that note I talked to a friend of mine who steered me toward these
jacks

...(ebay or where ever....which made me go out and look at the rear bumper
on the Ranger and examine it and see that it is quite substantial..maybe
more so than my gasoline Ranger bumper...ok ...so say we get the truck up to
40+ inches high and then use something similar to the 2200 lbs. rolling lift
that Chris saw(see his link)
http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_1037691_1037691

  to lower the pack.
On the front of the truck where no such good bumper exists we use a long
,tall floor jack with appropriate after supports. It's all nice and level
and we still have enough room to roll the pack out....Ponder and let me know
the pros and cons of this...(ie how we clear the ball joints etc. in the
front).....I'm keeping the faith...Witt
