This is the Wilderness EV kit for converting old VW Beetles.
At 72VDC (with the more powerful Alltrax controller, which is still not
designed for on-road vehicles) these kits still result in a painfully
underpowered car. Additionally, there have been recent reports on the
EVDL of people getting ripped off by Wilderness, who appear to be running
a very unscrupulous operation. Folks have ordered kits, received a few
parts and then never heard from Wilderness ever again (phone calls not
answered or returned, etc).
Stay away from these guys.
