Hi Ken,
I don't know that much about biodiesel, but I've learned a fair amount
about EVs in the past couple years.
There are a couple dozen EVs for sale on the following links. Does
anyone know of more? Most are conversions, a few are OEM trucks. What
requirements do you have for the vehicle? Cargo? Number of passengers?
Range?

vehicle"
On a side note, there is a nonprofit in Austin working to create a car
share program, which would make it easier to own only an EV. Right now
they are targeting the UT and downtown areas.

Do you have any questions about EVs in general that might help? The more
EVs around the merrier =)

Subject: [ausev] Electric and or biofuel car
Hey All,
My main car is on its last legs ('93 Ford Explorer, that I have now
driven 213,000 miles- one owner).
I am interested in buying an EV or a biofuel/biodiesel car with my next
purchase, that is coming in weeks. All I need is a commuter level car.
I have not had any luck in finding something that will handle this. I do
not think that I am going to have enough time to do a kit-car given my
present startup company schedule.
If you have a suggestion for a direction that I might look, please let
me know.
I am going to be in northern California this next week (actually I will
be in New Mexico, Arizona, and south California briefly as well). If
you have a suggestion of where I might go if there are better
opportunities / dealers out of town, please let me know. The only that
I have heard of is in Santa Rosa, California... so I am planning on
dropping by there too.
Any ideas are appreciated.
Thanks.
Kevin
