Home Depot does sell these gauges by the foot on a spool in copper.

Have you folks checked welding places?  I know the welding place on North 
Lamar had this at a decent price (though probably not the lowest).  I live in 
FL now, so can't check the name easily, but IIRC it was called "Airgas" and 
Lamar north of Braker/Kramer.
