This has really become a roller coaster ride!  I discovered that we have more commitments than I though.  Anyway, it's looking a bit better for the Sustainable Ball.  The issues now is fitting everything in the schedule.
We really want to thank everyone for their generous offers to help out.  
The situation as of this morning:  We have a favorite inspection station that is close to home.  Heidi is going to check with them to see if they can do an inspection with dealer tags.  If so, she will drive it over for that.  In any event, we have decided to be brave and drive it to the Ball anyway.  I say that whispering, so don't spread that around to loudly...
The biggest thing is scheduling.  Friday is completely full, no room for anything!

 Looks like there may be a snag getting Tweety to the Sustainable Ball.  We are still waiting on registration from the dealer.  Heidi went to the DMV to take her driving test for the motorcycle license - and to see whether she actually needs it or not.  She was informed that she did have to have the license and that it is illegal for her to drive the car (NmG) until she has it.  The car must also be registered and inspected before it can be driven for the test.  She also cannot drive it to the testing facility.  She was told that she would get a ticket if she arrived in it.  Fortunately, she was not asked what car she drove to the DMV!  So, until it gets registered, so it can get inspected, so she can get her license, Tweety's wings are clipped!&nbs! p; We do hope this can all get resolved before the weekend!
Until now, Tweety has really been a blast.  Last night Heidi was cruising I-35 getting lots of thumbs up.  Someone even stuck a cell phone out of their window and took her picture.

We have another event Saturday afternoon, but it looks like we should be able to do the Sustainable Shopper's Ball. :)   Would just have to leave fairly quickly after it finishes - around 2pm, if I read the schedule correctly.
