EV's are an instant success in Austin - 		12/22/2006 

After waiting 2+ months for the state license and bond to be a CAR dealer,  
John Martin with Shock Value Austin is open now at 2711 S. Lamar, at
Manchaca selling EVs and E-Platform Scooters.

He opened offically this past Saturday, and sold four (4) EVs in five (5) days.
I think the world wants EVs badly.     These three wheelers are very plush
and well built.

He has one left each of the Xebra ZAP sedan is $10,750 and the Xebra
ZAPTruck is $11,700.

AustinEv.org members will get some discount and he invited us to meet and
rally 
at his lot from time to time.   I think the AustinEV.org should have it's
first 2007 general meeting Jan 14 or Jan 21 at ShockValueAustin, and go
drive a ZAP EV car,.. !
