To Derek..I like your enthusiasm! I might be able to get the batteries by
this weekend and the rest of the parts soon after. I would love to see this
guys battery layout and I would be willing to pay a little extra for that as
it would save time I'm sure.
I'm ready to move ahead without official Ford help because I've waited so
long and not much is happening! We could drop the pack in my garage and I
have access to a pallet jack that could handle the weight (we could
distribute the weight with some 4X4's etc.
I also have several Ranger EV manuals on a CD that will help greatly. I
would not attempt this without some help from some of you who can actually
read a schematic! I'll let you know what I find out on Tuesday and Wed. and
maybe we can proceed. Thanks Mark W.
P.S...my 16 foot car hauler is ready to use if any one needs it for moving a
vehicle. It's a standard 2" ball hitch with a 4 pin light conn. I've ordered
a brake kit for it which should be here any day now. Also I have an electric
winch I just haven't mounted it on the trailer yet.
