Yes, my house can be used as a way station. I live about a mile north of
Chris' house. I am at 12907 Irongate Ave. which is a few blocks behind
Fry's Electronics. It is about 6 miles from my house to the Arbor
theaters. There is a 220 V dryer outlet in the garage although it is
currently difficult to park closer than about 25 feet from it.
It seems to me that our priorities at the press screening should be
1) Info about our planned presence at the opening weekend, including our
schedule.
2) Pictures of some cars to be displayed
3) Other info about the club including perhaps a press release and/or
links to materials that they can use.
4) (A distant fourth) Cars on display.
I think it would make an outstanding display for the opening weekend if
we could (temporarily) remove the bed from Witt's Ranger. It would then
have far better visibilty of the electric drivetrain and the battery
pack than any other vehicle in the club. The Ranger would make a really
cool show vehicle if he could eventually install an electric tilt bed
like some of the low riders use. The factory welded aluminum structure
for the rear suspension is something to see.
