[ausev] Mission & Charter Statement for AustinEV.org - draft #1

For the sake of the final Corp docs,..  ( just one part )
This mission & charter wording is derived so far from the AustinEV & EAAEV
websites, plus the required wording  as  you guys eventually become a 501(c)3
"educational' non-profit entity.  Please review, comment, expound, & trim my
redundancy out to a final collabrotive group statement; 

Our Mission & Charter
·       AustinEV.org or the Austin Area Electric Vehicle Association is an 
educational  organization dedicated to the public good by the exchange of
knowledge, information, skills, technology, resources and good times
surrounding custom and commercial Electric Vehicles, or EVs.
·       Besides EVs being very cool, we believe every KiloWatt of electricity
that displaces a gallon of gasoline in our cars is good for the environment,
the economy and our future.
·       We advocate any new motor, battery, fuel cell, and other alternate
electric automotive EV power, charging, fueling, distribution and delivery
systems that will replace a gasoline economy.
·       We promote grass-roots garage conversions, open source knowledge,
advanced electric motors, all commercial offerings, new standards, increased
safety, better batteries, and emerging technologies such as PHEVs  ( Plug In
Electric Hybrid Vehicles).
·       The AustinEV.org's further mission is to organize educational
workshops,
open garages, EV rallies, conventions, forums, school programs, public exhibits
and events for electric vehicles to educate the public on the progress and
benefits of electric vehicle technology. 
·       We operate as an open forum to promote, advocate & advance all
things in
EV or electric vehicles,
 from conversions cars, collector cars, golf carts,
three wheelers, custom cars, hybrids, plug in hybrids, pure EV electric cars,
motorbikes, trucks, buses & vans.
·       We insist that everyone know the simple fact that Electric Vehicles are
here today and certainly will be an ever increasing part of our future.  And we
invite everyone from Editors, Engineers, Ecologist, Environmentalists,
Economist and the Exasperated gasoline buying public to learn with us about EVs
and convert your cars to electricity.
