[ausev] emergency disconect?

If your talking about the SB350 grey anderson and its red lever arm I don't believe that is a home brew although I can't seem to find it at the online vendors or through google.
It looks identical to the to the setup in my S-15 Pickup and that has been there long before I bought it. Perhaps if you called evparts.com to buy the SB350's or whoever your parts broker of choice is they could help you to find that lever. They are nearly impossibly to seperate without one though so they must exist.
I know it is supposed to be an emergency disconnect in my pickup but I remember reading on the EV list that it is more of a service disconnect because in the case of failed on controllers it wouldn't break the arc. That may just be my poor memory though hopefully someone more knowledgable can clear that up.

I can’t find the email the link came from at the moment, but someone posted to the list pictures from the NEDRA meeting in Illinois. In one of the pictures I saw what looked like an emergency disconnect causing the cabling to physically separate.

Is this a homemade contraption or something that is available?

  Fellas-

I've been putting my Ghia back together after a tedious bit of work, and just as I got to the stringing my pack together, I've found that one of cables has walked off.

Does anyone have a lugged 2/0 cable to spare? I only need 4 inches, though, obviously, a longer one would do the job.

I'd love to get the car running again for tooling around during the Memorial Day weekend. My cell is 512-415-5926. I'll come to you.
