Hey, I wouldn't go too far on either of these points. :o)
A differential from a compact car with an independent rear suspension
(like an AWD Subaru, etc) is actually pretty darned small.
My question is, what is used for the usual motorcycle trike conversion,
like you see from time to time ... three-wheeled Honda Gold Wings, etc
...?
They probably use a differential there -- wouldn't that be nearly ideal?
