[ausev] Motorcycle Conversion

Howdy all,

            I am on the mailing list but not sure if I am a member or not.
I have been reading about the desire to convert a motorcycle to an electric
Trike.  I have wanted to do that since I first got into EV's at DAX over 5
years ago.  

I actually have an old motorcycle I am thinking of donating to the
conversion process.  It is an '86 Honda Shadow 500 with Shaft drive.  It
would run if I could get some spark out of her but she has 75,000 miles and
has sat outside all her life.  I really do not want to 'give' it to anyone
and have their death on my mind so I think I will part it out or convert it.
I don't know if I could get a trike conversion for it from Honda, or just
find a small car rear end and 'engineer' it together.  It might be small but
it is free.  I have already replaced it with an '06 Shadow Aero and have no
desire to get the old one running again (at least under gas power).

Let me know if you are interested, I would make it to your meetings more,
but I now live in Hutto and it is quite a drive down south. (Maybe not so
bad with I-30/45)
