Hi Erik,
Thanks for the links, I have been looking at some of the conversions and am learning a lot about this subject.
I wish you luck with your cool looking VW. I started by reading your web-site this afternoon.
I've had this car about 19 years. I have it stored in my  garage...I was going to put it up for sale on E-bay  cause we are planning to move to Florida soon. Then it hit me , why not use an electric motor in it instead of searching around for an original 50 year old antique technology Brit motor. This is a way to finally use this great looking vehicle and join the ranks of Green enthusiasts too!! In fact, I just might paint it green and rename it Austin-Heal-Evee
