Ranger Witt here...well lord willing and the river don't rise (hey I live on
Onion creek and it does come up abit!) I plan on putting the new batteries
in the empty pack case and start hooking everything up this weekend. I plan
on working Sat and Sun (Oct.28 and 29) approx noon till whenever both days
if it takes that long.
The car trailer will not fit in my garage so I plan on putting the
trailer in the driveway with the empty case on the trailer and a pop up tent
or two over the work area. I think those that picked up one of the 26 /62.5
lb new cells would agree that the less we have to reposition each one the
better. For me this will be a challenging job and any help from the Ev
gang that have some cabling experience will be greatly appreciated (you know
who you are). I should have any extra materials we will need before this
weekend. I have decided to try to keep the installation etc as close to what
the other conversion plans are that I am working from.
I believe we will only have access to Dan V's garage through Nov.12 if
I am not mistaken so maybe we will have it on the road before Thanksgiving
(and I will give thanks!) I don't know what the weather will be like this
weekend but unless it's real cold or a monsoon blows through we should be
ok. Also I plan on having a big pot of chili and of course the standard
hotdogs on the grill for those that just want to come see what 312 volts
looks like..(not feels like!)
