The datum is very incomplete, skewed towards the political-will currently
controlling it, and, is practically of no use.  The datum is not as current
as represented, it clearly omits the more controversial aspects of the fuel
problems which bother everyone.  The questions polled do not represent the
overwhelming problems caused by fossil fuels and their pending cost
increases.   The approach to those polls apparently are meant to dumb-down
any meaningful or helpful discussion of the topics which are supposed to be
of interest to us all.  The polls and survey topics deliberately leave out
the last several price-peaks of gasoline. (They may call that "skewed
data"), but the cost peaks of gasoline allow for meaningful discussion and
comparisons, as well as better planning as to what
economies/fuel/energy-economical vehicles we will plan to buy in the future
in order to "dump the pump".
