Mark,
I will need to talk directly to the author of EV Battery Replacement
Manual. There are some fault-code set error inaccuracies that may trigger
false positives (or fail to set true fault codes at all), that come into
mind when altering the sensor wiring, regarding the discharge profiles
sensed mathematically, and, the resulting anticipated controlled wattage to
the Siemens traction motor, since OEM batteries are not going to be
rebuilt, and a different battery voltage array is being used. If there is a
redundant way that this potential is irrelevant, then it would be helpful to
know those thoughts, in order to ask additional questions.
Genisys Scan System does not support the OEM faults on the Ford Electric
Ranger side of diagnostics, and since pollution does not apply here, OBD I
does not apply either.
I haven't recieved any email on the additional data you mentioned you were
going to send (as of Sunday 10 am).
Dan Petit.
