All,
I have recently joined the group and hope to meet many of you at the
Roundup in Fredericksburg in two weekends. I'll be volunteering at the
sign up booth Saturday morning. I have started a new company that is
focusing on engineering and energy/renewable energy concepts and
education. I hope to speak with many of you about the possibility of
getting grant money or other funds to pursue making EV vechicles and
conversions. I think there are some possibilities here, and from the
discussions so far, it sounds like the Austin EV group has a lot of
knowledge and experience.
You can reply to me if you are interested in getting funds for Austin EV
to pursue designs (e.g. with ultracapacitors, new electronics, kits,
etc.). I'm also hoping to hear from many of you the general timeframe
for converting a car as I'd like to get my own plan together but I have
no real garage workspace.
Thanks.
