Mark,
I've decided to move forward with designing my electric motorcycle. I will
probably have to draft several differing designs, since the various battery
sizes and weights are so different. (Esp. for suspension, shocks, springs,
etc.)
I don't think A123systems has any batteries to sell, and, probably won't
have anything to sell in the next year or so from what I have been told.
When I saw you at the "Who killed the electric car?" event, I wasn't
thinking in terms of lithium-ion, as I thought that the A123 developer pack
size might need too many cell arrays and be excessively "connection busy".
But since the weight and power ratios are the most important for everything
else, I thought that I'd ask what your firm has, so that I can consider an
additional design draft with your firms' battery specs as well.
 Dan Petit.
