Such assumptions as to the worldview of our membership or anyone in the
broader EV community are tempting, but prove ultimately to be misguided
and can cause unnecessary argument and flamewars that distract from the
purpose of our group and this list. All sorts of people are interested
in EVs these days, from all walks of life and sociopolitical
orientations.

Please let's keep this sort of discussion off the list.
