Besides the open community-developed CalCars Prius+ system and the open
PiPrius system, there are some proprietary manufacturers of PHEV
conversion kits. The one Austin Energy used was Hymotion in Toronto.

Other companies include EDrive, HybridsPlus, and of course as it has
been announced for some point in the future, Toyota.
