Where do I start?

I caught the bug to convert to EV before the MAKE Faire but seeing  
your cars there convinced me I wanted to do this.  I have been reading  
your archives and will continue to comb through them for good  
information.

Looking for advice on motors, thinking about a WARP9.

Should I look for a conversion "kit" or just discrete components?

Any recommendations on where to buy parts?
