Hi Ross,

There are several options, which one you choose depends on a lot of factors.

The main flavors are liquid and air. The liquid version replaces the
engine as a heat source with a small hot water heater.

The air version replaces your heater core in your airbox with some
sort of resistive heater, usually ceramic.

Don't know if you've found it yet, but this:

is a very well documented conversion where he considers his options
and then narrows them to a decision for almost all of the vehicle
systems. He has a good write up on heaters at the link above.

In fact the website above is one I'd suggest that anyone looking to do
a conversion at least glance at.
