Hi, im new to the mailing list and have taken a recent, albeit, intense
interest in EVs. I currently have a truck that i am interested in converting
and am in need of guidance on how to go about it.

My first question is, am i on the list?  i thought i had sent all of the
appropriate confirmations back but i havent seen any new mail in a couple
days.  Just want to make sure that i am infact recieving the mails as i hope
to.


Second question;    again, i am new to all of this but i feel like i am
beginning to get a grasp on things. I have a 1963 chevy half ton pickup that
i would am interested in converting to electric.  the origional engine is on
its last legs and I am going to have to replace it with a new one, either
ICE or electric.  The thought of not paying for gas is appealing.  Anyway,
if you can is there a ball park estimate on the money and gear i would need
to put into it to give it highway speeds and a 50-70 mile range?  Just by
eyeballing some numbers it would seem that i would be looking at 6-10 grand.
Any feedback would be helpful.
