Sadly I will report buying a used EV that is being
sold because it no longer works for the current owners
needs is a great way to get a bargain.
I am right now selling my S-15 GMC Pickup on the
trading post.
126 volt system
30+ mile range proven at a 45-65mph commute.
Barely one year old battery pack.
All rewired from last year
New russco charger.
Forget what I payed for the used EV. I'm expecting to
get about what I added to the EV to make it driveable.
Yes it is in pretty bad condition cosmetically but the
EV part and mechanical parts are all very good indeed.

This has been my experience with my previous two EVs I
have sold. They are too few and far between and many
of them are indeed being sold because they no longer
work for the persons needs. My new needs are 40 miles
highway.. No charging possible at work. So somebody is
going to get a pretty good bargain for the truck that
was only drive about 200 miles this winter.

If I had use for the 9" motor and curtis controller
i'd just scrap the truck and reuse some pieces and
come out ahead. I'm on the list for a little 3 wheeler
FreedomEV though so with my fingers crossed that I'll
never do a conversion again it is going to become most
likely the guts of someones ev.
