If you're looking for an intro to EV conversions, my conversion is 
fairly generic.  I have an "off the shelf" DC system with a goal of 
"get it on the road."

I also want to feed the flames on this EV long tail pipe debate.  The 
long tail pipe theory that you are just moving the pollution is wrong 
locally because Austin's night time power is provided by windmills.
