Thanks for the additional information. Interesting note about insurance coverage. Typically, you can only insure what you "own", leased cars being a notable exception. I am assuming that a typical array would also include a sizable storage capacity. The thought of replacing PbA batteries every 4-5 years is not appealing nor is the initial cost of owning your own system. The relatively small up front costs and implied free maintenance are what make it sound almost too good to be true..
