[ausev] New to EV's

Hi, I just purchased an EV and I would like to meeting others who are doing
the same.  I posted my car on the EValbum last night.  It is the 1981 Jet
Electrica.  I got into EV's through a friend at work, Lisa Korf, who has a
Honda Civic conversion.   This has been a dream of mine for a long time, so
I am very excited to finally be able to follow thorugh.  Since I bought the
Jet ready to go, I don't have any conversion projects in mind, but I am
interested in finding out how to install A/C, and I want to see what it
would take to recharge using solar.  I saw an email posting by someone in
May about charging with a solar station while at work.  I would be
interested in researching this further with anyone else who wants to do the
same.  I have been getting bids to set up solar for my home and I am going
to ask them to give me a bid on a system to recharge the car.  I also met
someone at the ZAP dealership who mounted a solar panel on one of his cars,
but I have not had a chance to stop by to see how it went.  I look forward
to meeting some of you in the near future.
