Hi Everyone,
At one point, Aaron asked me to share my plans to start a conversion business. While there is not much to share at this point, I and my partner in Dallas are starting up a business (to be based in Dallas) which will consist of clean and renewable electricity generation products, as well as conversion kits, and occasional basic conversions, not custom and without a lot of options. It would be great, by the way, if we could point people to a local source where they could go to upgrade any vehicles they do get from us to include things like power brakes and AC. We do not expect to be converting a high volume of vehicles, however we do hope to be a good source for basic kits with full instructions, which will be affordable, and also a kit source for those who are in the business of doing conversions. Input with respect to the desired content specs of basic universal kits (size of motor, etc) would be great, if anyone thinking of doing conversions on multiple vehicles would
like to provide information about that.
I am in the south end of town (when I am in Austin), but have not yet met any of you in person yet (except for Claire, who I know from outside the club). I will be moving to Dallas, but coming to Austin regularly for the next little while, so I will plan to stop by one of the open garages to introduce myself in person.
Incidentally, I still have that 2-seat 1986 Honda Civic electric hatchback for sale (www.hot-diggity-dog.com/electric/honda.html). It's a great little conversion, and ideally I'd like to sell it before July 19 when the sale of my house is final, so if you know of anyone who might be interested, please send them my way!

So, that is when the meeting will be. We will put together an agenda and get that out to everyone soon.
Cheers,
