[ausev] Activities over the weekend

Seems like we have 3 projects in progress that I know about: Rob's RAV4,
Mark Witt's Ranger, and my truck (in order of likely interest to the
community). Chime in if there are any others getting started or that I'm
not thinking about. Maybe we should show up at Erik's when he gets back
into town and force him to install his new Russco charger.  :-)

I'll be working on my project this weekend, and at my usual time at 2pm
on Saturday I'll be in the garage. It's supposedly going to be quite a
bit cooler tomorrow so the door may be closed, but folks are invited to
stop by if they want to see what's going on in my somewhat unusual
project.

For those following along, I've determined what I hope is a suitable
shape for the rear frame segment I'll be replacing. I'll be transferring
this shape to the steel plate, cutting it out with plasma and/or saw,
and hopefully at least getting a start on TIG welding it this weekend.
There may be quite a bit of practice on scrap beforehand so I can
establish a feel for this particular thickness of metal.

At any rate, I don't want this to get in the way of other projects in
the group (if for no other reason, I want to participate in those
too :-); so hopefully the timing won't cause conflicts.
