I "tested" my Warp13 because I was curious to see what it would do on only
12 volts. As it turned out, it spun pretty fast. With Nick's Cherokee
(based on a 9" motor), we used a single battery to creep the vehicle into
the garage once.

Speaking more practically, this might be a good opportunity to see how
well-seated your brushes are. It may be necessary and/or just a good idea
to idle the motor on low voltage for a while to let the brushes seat
themselves before the motor sees real duty.
