[ausev] Any open garages this weekend? No, but NEXT WEEKEND (4/1)

I can do a welding demonstration at some point for those who'd like to
learn. One problem is that I only own a TIG welder at the moment, which
is probably not something that anyone would want to take the time to
learn. MIG welding is vastly easier to do and to learn, and is entirely
acceptable for pretty much any EV conversion. Does anyone in the group
have a decent (130A or more) MIG welder they could provide and/or help
demonstrate?

Given the feedback I've recently received from some friends about the
ReadyWelder battery-powered MIG welder/spool gun, I'm considering
getting one of those but can't justify the expense at the moment. For
about the same money, you can also get the very nice 175A Lincoln from
Lowe's.

For the purposes of a demo, other stuff I don't have:

- Argon/CO2 mix for MIG (I only have pure argon for TIG)
- Goggles/masks to go around (I only have one extra pair of goggles with
a fixed #10 lens)

I do have a decent angle grinder, bench grinder with wirebrush wheel,
and metal chop saw.

Would anyone else be interested in a welding demo?
