Thanks for the initial posting of this docuement. I am now suckered into
reading it the document from the CNW website. It appears from first look
that they calculate 'Energy cost' and not 'Energy' as itself. I'm
interested to see what this enables or prevents as one could argue if
energy is priced correctly. This is of course why engineers/scientists
focus on energy instead of costs. The comment on Ni and other metals
being used in other industries is valid.
The auto industry is a good thing to look at this way because it is
probably as complex as anything. However valid this study is, it should
only increase understanding.
