I'll host an unofficial ACEAA meeting next Sunday June 3 around 2-4 p.m.
(let me know if other times work better Chris and Charles, or if another
day will work better since you two are the only ones that replied so
far).  We can meet at my hangar at San Geronimo Airpark (5 miles west of
1604 on FM 471).  I will try to leave the gate open, if not call my cell
at 210 722-2977 and I will come out to open it.  I am in the second set
of hangars (green) in the second one in on the front side (north).

We can go over the status of my projects and also review the Auto
X-Prize (AXP) requirements if anyone is interested.  I have 5 EV designs
planned for resale, all will be PEV three-wheelers (2F1R) and all will
eventually be offered open or enclosed with lead or lithium.  I am
starting with "open cockpit" versions using lead acid batteries.  They
are 1) a simple recumbent trike with an electric motor, 2) a larger
single place, 3) a two-place tandem motorcycle-based design, and 4&5)
two larger side-by-side two-place designs.  I already started on the
largest model before the AXP was announced and I will finish it as an
open-cockpit (roadster) version.  I have most of the basic frame and
front end fabricated with wheels and seats mounted so that the brakes,
steering and details can be finished.  I also have the motor, controller
and rear wheel but have not finished the rear drive design.  I got ten
new-used batteries yesterday so I can start wiring the controller and
get the controls functioning.  

Well, that's it for now.  I will be setting up a website in the next few
weeks - I have a placeholder at www.ZWheelz.com and will try to add
pictures and info as I progress.
