It seems like someone posted something about Air cars recently. Anyway it has popped again in the news.

The energy source is compressed air. Released numbers are 68 mph with a 125 mile cruise range. Refuel can be either at gas stations with special compressors, or by the cars onboard compressor run from the grid.
