[ausev] musings...to convert?

In general, unless a car is a collector's or special vehicle I would
strongly recommend against converting something that is older than 10
years. By law manufacturers must stock parts for 10 years, and the
aftermarket follows suit, so after 10 years parts get harder to find. A
Corolla is a little safer than average, because they tend to last forever
and so many were made that parts will probably be available for awhile.

I would take a good hard look at the condition of the body and interior. If
they are really clean, it might be a good choice, if they are not you may
want to find another car.

Trying to replace your primary vehicle might be difficult unless you can
find a car to bridge the 6 months or so it will take you to convert the car.
