I thought that the group would like to know that I've been issued the first
Austin Energy Electric Vehicles Rebate Program check for an EV conversion:
File # EC0001 for $250.

Many thanks to the group for helping make this available to conversions!

I'll post an image of the letter on my blog later!  You can also get an
update on dead battery experience there.
