I'll clarify this a little bit. AC systems are definitely more expensive
and the price is unpredictable as Victor simply sells according to
current exchange rates, but they're not necessarily any more difficult
to install, with the one caveat that the controller is significantly
larger and heavier.
It might even be a little easier to do the installation in some ways.
Due to the water channels around the motor, the Siemens motors are
square. We found this advantageous in building the motor mount bracket,
when we put one in a Ford Ranger a few years ago.
