I won't argue those points at all. I found the need for h2o cooling added
some complexity, but I deliberately left out "simpler" from my AC vs DC
comparison. :)
My experience was that the budget DC parts (Curtis, Advanced 9", Trojan
floodies) were immediately available while there was some order delay for
the AC parts and/or a Zilla. One of my design simplifications/accelerators
was to get everything from a single supplier and choose items without
backorder lags.
