Well, I talked to the the instructor at the school, they are running a day
behind on the lesson plan, so Tuesday is actually a better day. I drove the
MR2 home tonight, and batterywise it looks pretty good, so I think I can
make it with just one charge somewhere in South Austin. Thanks to everyone
who replied, it looks like Rob near Bee Caves and Mopac has the biggest
outlet close to the school. (8 miles away) The offer near Brodie and 290
was a bit closer, but he only had 20amps available. I'll let everyone know
tomorrow what the plan is, it looks like I will need to charge early Tuesday
morning somewhere near South Austin.
Maybe as a group we should setup a database of charging locations noted
around town, type, location and usage policy? (There are some lists online,
but I think we can do better)
Thanks!
Mark

I'm by Zilker w/ a dryer plug. Will that do? 15 miles from the Faire and 7
miles to the Y.

Cat Russell at the Waldorf school has again requested that I show my car to
her class. I accepted without looking at the time, 8-945am Monday the 22nd.
With the car at the Maker Faire until Sunday I am looking for any ideas on
how I can get down to the school (past the Y in Oak Hill) while still having
enough charge to show off.
Is there anyone in Central Austin that has 240V charging that I can use
Sunday evening or early Monday morning, and again on the return Monday or
Monday evening? I am also looking for anyone in South Austin or Oak Hill
that has charging available. Does anyone have contact information for Marc
Kohler?
Thanks
