Thanks for all the wonderful ideas. Now for a morning of wire stripping and
crimping! Fun and JOY!!
Luckly the two fe-mail connects are wired the same way (same wire colors and
positions) so it's a straight jump across. I guess I should also feel lucky in
that cheap Chinese scooters haven't changed much... though the body is
probably covered in lead paint.... :)

I actually just saw a connector like that yesterday, but can't
remember the name. Anyway, it looks like a quick disconnect type
connector inside a housing. I believe these use the same sizing as
conventional quick disconnects (Faston).

I can't remember the name with that particular arrangement, but if you
can't find it you can most likely take single faston terminals plug
them in and then cover it with electrical tape.
I hope the two motor controllers have the same inputs and outputs!
