Hello Chris,

Actually, I need an airbag.  I intend to lower both ends of the truck.
So if I need to traverse a speed bump, I will need to raise the rear end
to clear the transmission cross-member.

If you don't need the adjustability of the air bags, and you're doing it
on the cheap, you might consider just adding a leaf to your spring
packs.
I've seen examples of it and I understand it's a common method, though I
haven't done it myself or seen it done so I don't know for sure what's
involved.
