I'm trying to decide whether to convert my 1989 Toyota Corolla to
electric.  It is now in the shop & needs too many/$$$ repairs to be
reasonably repaired.  I hope you all don't mind my throwing these
thoughts out into the e-thosphere.

Problems:

1.  I have no garage & my HOA is, well... too narrow-minded & would
probably fine me (several times) for doing that sort of thing.

2.  Right now I'm short on cash, in part because I will very shortly be
forced to purchase another car.

3.  Time... where does it go???

4.  This model has a metal-ized plastic transmission.  So far, so good,
BUT...

5.  This car has 220,000+ miles on it.  It has been a great car, BUT...
