[ausev] electric car mechanic & electric-to-electric conversion

I bought a Zap car in January and it has regularly malfunctioned requiring repairs.  I have had trouble getting it repaired.  The Zap manufacturer refuses to send parts to Austin so I have to get parts from another dealer in another state.  Plus the local trained guy often is not very promptly available to do repairs.  
   
  Is there anyone out there who could do car repair on my car?
   
  Is there anyone out there who could do an electric to electric conversion so that my car could function on locally-available parts so that I would not be dependent on the Zap company for repairs?
