[ausev] Heat Sink

It would be better than nothing, but probably not much. The thermal
resistance in a joint (same idea as electrical resistance, except it
impedes the flow of heat instead of electricity) depends on many
things, but surface roughness and compression are the big players. If
you had the surfaces very smooth and compressed them well, and maybe
put some thermal grease between them, it would be a lot of work and
you still might not have a good heatsink.

Attaching some small stick-on heatsinks to a flat plate could be a
good budget route to upgrade a flat plate, but I don't know how much
they go for in surplus. You might quickly approach the price of the
"right" heatsink.
