Yeah, I think that will work. I didn't notice that potential upper
mounting surface the last time you sent this info to me...
I just ordered it and a 12v 60 cfm muffin fan to go on top of it.
What about the lube?

That's a pretty enormous heatsink. What are you using it for? Something
in addition to your Curtis controller? The Curtis controller measures
about 12" x 7". If you're trying to cool multiple components, you'd have
much better luck finding heatsinks for each of them.

Since then, I've found some independent confirmation of the
applicability of this particular heatsink for Curtis Controllers. For
$50, I don't think you're going to find a much better deal for this much
surface area. What were you quoted for the Curtis heatsink?
