The answer that I got when I asked was "no requirements."  My research did
not turn up any, but that's not a definitive no either.

One general comment about being street legal.  Your EV should not exceed the
gross vehicle weight (GVW) of the original glider.  As you approach GVW then
you'll need to beef up the brakes, suspension, etc.
