Not in Austin, but a lurker from Madison WI...

I ran that Kyocera calculator, and WOW.  It's right on the money for the
costs and efficiency of my 2.4Kw grid-tie PV system.  And you folks in
Austin should be THRILLED if you can put up a 3Kw system for $7k after
rebates...my 2.4k system ended up costing $13k.  Not that I'm complaining, I
love the thing.  My payback horizon is much farther out that yours is (how
much snow did you brush off your arrays last winter?  We had 112"!) but I'd
do it again in a heartbeat.  Why?

Because it is SOMETHING.  And if *everybody* did *something,*  then great
things will happen.

You AustinEV guys should be proud, from my research you are the most active
group of EVer's out there.  Keep it up!
