My actual cost was $7,148.80, after checking my invoice for my first
3348W in 12/2006. My second 3348W of solar panels cost $8,073.03 on
10/2007. The prices are going up, which is why I jumped when I did.
I used Meridian Solar. http://www.meridiansolar.com/ I hate to
shill for companies, but they did good work. So, tell them I sent ya.
:-)
Anyways, if you are at all remotely serious about solar... just call
any number of the companies on the Austin Solar Installer list:
http://www.austinenergy.com/Energy%20Efficiency/Tools%20and%20Tips/participatingCompanies.htm
Most of them will give you a free estimate of cost and energy
produced. I got three estimates before getting my panels installed.
