The ones that come to mind are Yahoo's and Google's sites. Yahoo's is
flickr.com and is by far the better known and more popular. Google's is
picasa.com, and I believe that images made "public" from Picasa are
available to be viewed on picasaweb.google.com. I have not used Picasa.

Though we obviously don't have any restrictions set up to prevent
attachments from being posted to the list as many others do, we try to
discourage it. Putting files on a server or using a service like you've
done, is preferable.

I apologize for not having guessed/remembered that this is the same
motor you were asking about earlier. I'll be very interested to see how
it works out. Whatever happens, I know I'll be learning something :o)

This is a good question in general. I'm wondering how hard it would be
to build a dyno...? maybe with water and some vanes swishing it around
or something. Eh, just another distraction I guess. What's unfortunate
is that neither Netgain nor Warfield (their manufacturing partner) have
a dyno that's large enough to fully test their larger motors at
realistic voltages and current.

It was just 12 volts from two parallel UPS batteries. I was a bit
surprised by how fast this 330V rated motor spun at 12 volts, but
thinking back I probably shouldn't have been. At any rate, it won't
exactly be silent, with that large commutator.

Thanks! :o)

Next Saturday I'll be back in the garage working on the truck, so you're
welcome to stop by and check it out in person if you like!
